BAHRAM GUR IN THE BLUE PALACE, Nizami. «Hamsa»


Rendezvous of Bakhram Gur and Magrib princess in the blue palace is a story from “Seven beautiful women”. Colour scheme consists of different tones of blue. There are some accents of orange and red colour only emphasize colour scale.
Text division influences on the rhythm of the composition. In the centre there is Bakhram Gur and the princess. On the right and left there are servants and musicians. We also see a woman on the balcony. Bakhram Gur with his hand on the shoulder of the young woman listens to her story about adventures of Makhan in the enchanted garden.
The princess is in pose according to the court terms. Her dress is in Indian manner, but the cap is typical for Central Asia of XVII century.
