Amir Khosrov Dihlevi is one of the famous Iran-speaking poet (1253-1325), who lived in Deli sultanate. On this miniature he is depicted as an old man with two young men who listen to him. It is not a portrait, it is just a simple picture. This miniature is typical for the first part of that list “Madjlis al-Ushshak”: standard composition, restrained colour scheme (green meadow, red flowers, men dressed in yellow and red jackets).
